Dawgwood Speedway
We would like to thank Maxxis, Dawgwood Speedway, and all the participants of the Junior Max Daddy. Overall, the Junior Max was a great experience for Tuffy. Having to purchase tires at the track, getting them mounted, and getting them prepared the morning of the race was a new experience for us. With only 24 karts allowed to start the race, Tuffy qualified 9th in Animal Gold Lites, 13th in Animal Gold Heavy, and 16th in the Jr Max Daddy. Our qualifying fell off because of our saving one our two sets of tires for the Jr Max Daddy main event. Tuffy finished 11th in Lites and 9th in Heavy. He was running 9th in the 50 lap Jr Max Daddy just making laps when he was taken out by someone else's spin. When Tuffy was taken out, he was running laps with a speed equal to those of the leaders. Nevertheless, it was a great racing weekend and we were blessed to be competitive.
