Casey Ranks 8th in the WKA Maxxis Karting Nationals

Tuffy Casey, 13, of Ariton, Alabama, is ranked 8th in the karting nation in Maxxis Animal Gold Lite and Maxxis Animal Gold Heavy. Tuffy Casey and his race team C2Racing received an invitation based upon his winning the Mid-Georgia Maxxis Animal Gold Championship to attend the 2011 Maxxis Karting Nationals in Nesses, South Carolina, on October 14-16.  Casey qualified to run two classes, Animal Gold Lite on Saturday and Animal Gold Heavy on Sunday.  Maxxis officials stated that there were over 800 entries for this event and included karters from 22 states.  Qualifying 14th on Saturday in Animal Gold Lite, Casey finished 8th after running as high as 5th position.  In the Animal Gold Heavy race, Casey started 15th , fell back to 20th position, eventually racing his way back to finish 8th.  Casey stated, “I have had a blessed year of racing. I want to thank God, my family, my team, my sponsors, Jimmy Rivers of JRPW, and my fans for a successful year.  We are already gearing up for 2012.”  C2Racing extends a heartfelt thanks to their sponsors: Covenant Cattle Company, Stanley Smith Drywall, Wilkerson’s Marathon, and Miss Patty’s Kids.  The year’s success is largely due to Jimmy Rivers Performance Works providing awesome engines and a second-to-none tire program.  In addition to JRPW’s help, Casey credits the continual support of parents Bruce and Carol Casey, sister Connor Casey, grandmother Elaine Casey, and uncle and aunt Vic and Angie Coker.  Contributing to the team’s success at this nationally sanctioned event was the support of Perry and Alex Boin of Boin Racing of Taylor, Alabama; Michael McInerney, car chief of BS & S Racing of Chelsea, Alabama; and Josh Coker and Starla Adams of Covenant Cattle Company, Ariton, Alabama. C2Racing is soliciting sponsorship for the 2012 race year and may be contacted through the contact page or at the following number (334)685-1328. Casey’s goal for 2012 is to win a National Championship and as Jesus taught in Matthew 13:23 to choose to be good soil, to seek God’s truth, and to diligently seek HIM in faith.
