Maxxis Twin State Series Kicks Off
For the first race of 2012, C2Racing and Boin Racing traveled to Causeyville, Mississippi, for the first race of the Twin State Shootout Series. With over 340 entries, each team qualified for Stock Animal Medium. Boin also qualified in the top ten of Stock Animal Heavy. Casey qualified 12th and successfully completed three laps to place 14th due to his recovering from knee surgery. Boin qualified 9th, worked his way up to 5th position, ultimately finishing in the 11th position. In Stock Animal Heavy, Boin qualified 8th and quickly advanced to 4th spot but unfortunately got caught up in a wreck and finished 12th. It was the first time Casey and Boin have raced at this track, having to adjust to its unique characteristics. We would like to thank Maxxis and Causeyville Speedway for hosting the event. Casey and Boin also extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who supports them, especially JRPW. Overall, it was a good weekend of racing. We are looking forward to the next Twin State Event on April 28th at GreenValley Speedway. Until then, the teams will be preparing for the opening race of the Southeastern Maxxis Series on March 24th at Dawgwood Speedway in Chatsworth, GA.
